2010 TD Summer Reading Club
The theme this year is Destination Jungle and it allows children to travel to exotic lands, explore tropical environments, and embark on an adventure of discovery of faraway places through the shelves at their local BTPL branch.
Ride to Read @ BTPL
Throughout the month of August, children enrolled in the TD Summer Reading Club @ BTPL can ride Durham Region Transit for free through the Ride to Read program. Children in elementary school (kindergarten to grade eight) will receive special stickers on their library cards at their local branch as part of joining the reading club. Registration in both July and August is required to turn their library cards into transit passes.
