This is the Brock Township Public Libraries webpage for teens. Though it's technically still a work in progress (our links don't do anything yet) we'll have updates on new books, parties, movies and game days at your local library branch. We also plan to eventually get regular updating blogs on here for each of the four creators of this page;

Me, Kyle, Designer and Main Coder, I helped put this project togther with Barb Heidendahl who works out of Sunderland Branch, I work at the library as the main IT Ninja, and I'm doing this on my downtime.

Carly, The Photoshop and Illustrator Ninja and Main Designer. She would be here to fill in her intro blurb, but she had to run home to get portfolio stuf together for her college applications.

Madison, We can't remember what she supposed to do, but she does provide mood ambience, either grumpy or giggly. She was supposed to code with me, but kinda never got around to it.

And..

Keisha, She was supposed to do a little artistic animation for the ScrawlBox (our text boxes like this one), but got delayed. You'll see her talent come up later with our mascot.

Anyway, let me tell you a bit about the site here. Getting around is easy, the four big pictures there are your Navigation Buttons. They link to pages where we've placed links and things that deal with them. Under books, you'll find what's new at the library for books, a link to their catalogue and stuff. Fun Stuff will be where the games and blogs will be found. Events will be our calendar-datebook dealie that keeps track of everything that's going on in the branches. Schools will have resources, tools, databases and articles to make research, essays, and bibliographies happy. These four buttons will follow you around the site after you click on them, and will end up going to the right over top of Carly's wicked line art. There'll also be a purple HOME button for if you want to come back to the landing page here and read this again.

 

Anyway, it's almost closing here, so I'm gonna pack up and get this sucker online.
